Vietnam’s multiple entries is a kind of visa that allows foreigners to enter Vietnam multiple times within the visa’s duration and foreigners can’t change the purpose of entry
Depending on the requirements and purpose of entry, you can choose these kinds of Vietnam visa:
Types of Vietnams multi-entry visa
– Vietnam tourist visa (type DL): this kind of visa allows you to stay in Vietnam for 15 – 30 days, single entry, tourism purpose
– Business visa (type DN): Granting for foreigners that enter Vietnam for business purpose, technical training, the maximum stay of this visa is 3 months, type DN1
– Working visa (type LD): Granting for foreigners entering Vietnam for working purpose. To apply for this visa, foreigners must have a Work Permit
– Visit relatives visa (type TT): foreigners who have Vietnamese relatives (father, mother, spouse) will apply for this kind of visa to visit relatives. Foreigners must have a Relationship Certificate (Birth certificate, Marriage certificate), Visiting visa has a duration from 3months to 1 year.
– Study visa (type DH): Granting for foreigners who want to enter Vietnam for study or internship. This kind of visa has maximum duration up to 12months.
– Investment visa (type DT): Granting for investors in Vietnam, this kind of visa has duration equal to the invested amount
– Personal purpose visa (type VR): Granting for foreigners enter Vietnam to visit relatives or other purposes. This kind of visa has duration up to 6 months.
How to Get a Multiple Entry Visa for Vietnam?
Currently, foreigners must satisfy these 4 basic requirements to apply for Vietnam visa:
– Passport with at least 6 months validity
– Sponsor company in Vietnam
– Foreigners not falling into the case of suspension from entry Vietnam.
– Foreigners entering for working purpose must provide certify documents like Working permission, Staff card, conference invitation, …
– Investors must provide investment certificates.
– Foreigners entering for visiting purpose must provide relationship certificate (Birth certificate, Marriage certificate)
– Foreigners entering for study purpose must provide invitation/acceptance letter from the sponsor school or academy.
Get Vietnam embassy visa.
The Embassy only issues visa to foreigners who have an approval letter from The Immigration Department in Vietnam. Travel document is not valid to apply for Approval Letter/Visa
When the Approval Letter is granted, you bring your original passport and printed copy of the Approval Letter to the Vietnam’s Embassy/ Consular to get the visa.
